The trio, James Storm, Bram and Eddie Kingston, the DCC was ready to take over TNA with their new gimmick in the last episode. This episode showcased their new persona with flair.
Eddie Edwards in-ring promo:
Eddie had to addressed on the last week's attack. Hence, Eddie cut a brave promo. He needed to be more fierce with the mic. As of then, he looked like an underdog despite his efforts to show himself as the stronger guy. The DCC and Jeff Hardy's involvement with Eddie has a potential of a good storyline. The eye to eye stare of James Storm and Jeff Hardy seemed a little off but it spoke a lot. I liked how TNA was still using Billy Corgan's "the boss" gimmick even after his departure. This had to handled.
Jessie Goddarz vs. Aron Rex:
It was a nice slow-paced match. Aron Rex's work near the ring apron and outside the ring was wonderful. The eye raking segment was aptly placed in the match. It proved that even Jessie could conjure up a fierce-no-bullshit-all-business performance.
Backstage promo of Laurel-Sienna-Maria-Allie:
Allie has been cutting funny promos every single time. Allie and Maria create an awesome duo. Sienna still needed to give more effort on narrating the storyline.
Gail Kim's backstage promo:
This was shocking. Gail Kim forfeiting her title preceded by how she called out Jade last week to give charge of the knockout division suggested that Gail will be retiring soon. That would be devastating for all TNA fans.
Sienna-Laurel vs Brandi Rhodes-Madison Rayne:
Brandi's entrance was beautiful. She was indeed showing her sexy side. Brandi was required to prove her wrestling skills. Sienna and Madison showed great fierceness. Laurel's knowledge of the industry made her sexier when she was in action and even when she was out of action. Brandi was a little stiff initially but later she compensated with the fast and furious segment with Sienna. It was a beautifully performed match by the four wonderful women.
Broken Matt's World:
This segment was about Matt's addiction of "Delete" and his show of amnesia symptoms. Rebi looked hot. She is the goddess of sexiness in TNA. Broken Matt losing his brokenness and madness implies some new art by Matt is ready to surface in the upcoming episodes.
EC3 vs. Trevor Lee vs. Bobby Lashley vs. Mike Bennet (No.1 contender match for World Championship):
This was a clever stipulation. All four wrestlers pulled off an awe-inspiring match. Especially, Trevor Lee and Mike Bennet stole the show with neat execution as individual performers and amazing chemistry as a tag team. Meanwhile, Lashley, the powerhouse, threw Trevor Lee into EC3 with such ease. Trevor Lee's Drop Kick was as clean as Ellsworth's No Chin Music. The final segment with Lashley's spear, Bennet's Super Kick, Spine Busters, Trevor Lee reversing Spear with his Collison Course, Kick on the face of EC3 and the over-the-top-rope amazing jump: Made me speechless.
Fact of Life Show:
Eli Drake's promo and Fact of Life show have been of top class. EC3's claim of TNA being close to becoming the most competitive show was not false. But TNA still requires more light and more Marks to thrive in the competition.
Jade's backstage Promo and Search for Rosemary:
It was a bit childish. The promo with the Decay was nice but Jade searching for Rosemary segment could have been more interesting. A request to the TNA writers: Please don't ruin this wonderful wrestler's career with bad promos. Nevertheless, we can expect a lot from the Steel Cage match between Jade and Rosemary; I can't wait for it.
Basile Baraka vs. Mahabali Shera:
Shera's Camel Clutch was cool. The match obviously showed how Shera has improved his pro wrestling skills. Al Snow entered the ring to kick the hell out of the Tribunals. Even at his age, he showed a lot of fierceness. "Al Show still has it".
Jeff Hardy-Eddie Edwards vs. DCC (Handicapped Match):
Jeff Hardy's entrance without his tattoos was saddening. :( Eddie's over-the-top-rope jump followed by Jeff's turnbuckle jump was the holy shit moment of the match. Kingston proved his hard-hitting skills and susceptibility to take falls. Eddie's suplex into the two Steel Chairs was a never-seen moment. It was a brave work by Kingston to take that kind of painful fall. Bram's DDT to Eddie onto the table: No words. The match was a complete package of brutality, chaos and awesomeness.
